Spotlight. Bhangra music.
From what I've heard, Bhangra is traditional persian music, remixed with a pop
flavor. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the explanation that was told to
me.) Once again, watching cable television is to blame. There's a program on
the International Channel (again with the International Channel! You really should
pester your cable service provider, till they subscribe to it.) called AVS, and it
showcases Indian and Persian movies, music, and musicals. And of course, I'm fairly
hooked. (Not as bad as this whole gayo thing, but I like Bhangra.)
